At Village Garade, near Saswad amidst nature and spread over a one acre plot, where a 2000Sq.Ft Hall is constructed to host around 60-70 participants to perform Yoga.
Hatha yoga refers to a set of physical exercises (known as asanas or postures), and sequences of asanas, designed to align your skin, muscles, and bones.
The postures are also designed to open the many channels of the body — especially the main channel, the spine — so that energy can flow freely.
Ashtanga vinyasa yoga, usually referred to simply as Ashtanga yoga, is a style of yoga codified and popularized by K. Pattabhi Jois and is often promoted as a modern-day form of classical Indian yoga.
Pattabhi Jois began his yoga studies in 1927 at the age of 12, and by 1948 had established the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute for teaching the specific yoga practice known as Ashtanga (Sanskrit for "eight-limbed") Yoga. Ashtanga Yoga is named after the eight limbs of yoga mentioned in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.
"Power yoga" and "vinyasa yoga" are generic terms that may refer to any type of vigorous yoga exercise derived from Ashtanga yoga.
It moves quickly: Power Yoga is definitely an intense workout that will make you sweat. A traditional Ashtanga practice follows the same series of poses and makes you hold each for five breaths before moving through a Vinyasa.
Medical yoga is a blend of ‘Modern Science’ and classical ‘Hatha Yoga’.
From Modern Science, advance diagnosis techniques like - M.R.I. scans, X-rays, Blood Tests, Ultrasound, CT scans are used to get the clear picture of the underlying problem.

I am Kinnari Pinto housewife age 40 years my experience of going to Maria yoga classes has been amazing I have tried gym, Zumba and various other fitness disciplines even yoga in the city I lived previously but doing yoga here is fantastic it calms and energises me to face the challenges of the whole day activities with total zeal and confidence. She is an excellent teacher and her knowledge about Yoga and the different asana that she makes us do by explaining all the positives and negatives of them is again too good. Joined many institutions at different countries and cities but at MYPC my experience is amazing and it has changed my views towards yoga. I always used look forward to the most awaited Monsoon treks and different workshops at Garade village on Yoga conducted by Maria Ma’am, that’s how I got associated with her since the past 4 to 5 years. I have been doing yoga since last 16 years with different teachers. So I was under the impression that I knew everything, but after joining Maria’s classes on Saturday’s since past 6 months you won’t believe that I am learning something new every time. I am very satisfied going to her classes and am impressed by her teaching style and dedication towards yoga. Though I stay at Bundgarden road, that is 13km from M.Y.P.C. but still getting up at 5.30am and coming for 6.30am class was challenging. But after attending her classes now I don’t want to miss any of her class. At the end go satisfied to learn something today which I try to teach at the YMCA whenever Ostwal sir is absent. I was on the lookout for some yoga classes in my nearby area and when I saw the advertisement of Maria's yoga classes, I decided to give it a try.. It has been 3 months now since I joined her yoga classes and I can make out the difference in myself these 3 months.. Certain Asanas which were quite difficult to do in the beginning, are becoming easier with every class.. Maria has an extremely good knowledge of her subject and pays individual attention to all the members.. The Classes are a mix of yoga, pranayama and stretching and there is something new to learn in each class.. Maria's guidance and the different yoga styles in each class make every class a learning process for the body and mind.

Maria Partapurwala made me do different types of pranayama and stretching exercises needed in early pregnancy. MYPC has fulfilled a long fell need to have a dedicated Yoga training center in this part of Pune. In most of the Gyms Yoga is a ‘side event’ conducted by trainees with a limited ability. MYPC is a spacious, well equipped Yoga Centre with all the appropriate props. In Maria, we have a very well trained, dedicated instructor with 15 years of experience in teaching Iyengar Yoga. She explains each asana very carefully in detail and given special instructions and attention depending on age, gender and specific limitations. Her sessions are systematic and vigorous but never hurried or pressurised for time. All her instructors are equally well trained and committed. I’ve been attending her classes for the past 8 months and I have found a change in my stamina, energy levels and mental attitude. Fitness industry has become commercialized but not necessarily professional. Injuries are common as fitness clubs lack qualified and experienced trainers. Marias yoga classes have none of these drawbacks. Maria and her team are a bunch of highly trained, experienced and committed professionals steeped in traditionalism (trained under B.K.Iyengar) yet having a modern outlook towards training in Yoga. I have greatly benefitted as I used to suffer from occasional asthma attacks. I had joined Maria's yoga in 2009 with severe backache. My condition was so worst that I could not sit without support for even a while. After I started yoga I developed tremendous strength in my back slowly n steadily today the pain has almost vanished n now I can do all the possible poses perfectly. Also my posture and energy level has improved tremendously. Yoga not only improves your physical health but it also helps to maintain your mental health. DOJ - 14th March to 15th April 2016. I joined Yoga on the above mentioned date, it was a great One month session which was taught by an experienced teacher as Maria. She is meticulous in her teaching and communicates with her students if they are unwell or have pains after their first session. The environment is calm and serene, yoga mats, props are available at the workshops which are made to use by students during yoga sessions. Yoga mats, T-shirts, props etc,,, are readily available with Maria at workshop for sale. My colleagues in the class ranged from young people to senior citizens, it was great to know people from different walks of life. Doing Yoga with MYPC since 10 years. When I Joined Maria’s Yoga class I was very stiff and had no knowledge about yoga at all. But over the years I have learned a LOT from Maria and as the years have gone by I have improved to a great extent. I enjoy going to her class and as a teacher she is wonderful and very clear in her instructions and every class is to look forward to, as every time we learn something new, so it never becomes monotonous.
Maria’s Yoga...I have been training with her since 15 years..and has helped me calm down a lot..the way she explains every step before u take any pose..then our pose just can’t go wrong..nd the deep breathing and relaxation one has to experience it..there is no explanation for that..there are times when we fall asleep also..just too good..it makes u disciplined and one starts to love oursleves after the class ..and if we are active and healthy our family is also healthy..in between she gives us so many health tips that we have learnt to follow nd discipline ourselves...one must attend the class to find the difference. .

I am glad to be the student of your YOGA classes.. When I joined this class, I was suffering from Asthma, hypertension and depression. Though I'm not attending classes regularly, due to yoga ,I feel much better in all three problems. I'm very thankful to you for paying personal attention, and guidance. I am a chartered accountant aged 53 yrs. I along with my wife Farida joined MYPC two months ago. Earlier we both had practiced yoga at other places. Our objective of joining yoga was to get muscle flexibility, relief from joint pains, stabilising blood pressure and maintain overall general health. The methodologies and techniques used at mypc have enabled us to achieve the above. MYPC uses various props like ropes, belts, bolsters, bricks, rolling pins which enable us to achieve yoga asanas which were not possible at our age and level of stiffness. Further in spite of large numbers personal attention is given to each and every one which avoids any wrong postures. Clear instructions leads to correct implementation. It is VFM..value for money. Maria yoga classes are a breath of fresh air .. The positivity that Maria mam brings in class is unbelievable.. Everyday maria mam brings in something new for us which is exciting and doesn't get boring.. I started yoga with Mariyah ben in the 6th month of my pregnancy. Considering my age and not having exercised for years I wasn't expecting any miracles but yoga with Mariyahben helped me deliver normally. And post-delivery yoga has eased the lower back pain that I had. Besides being a wonderful yoga instructor she is an amazingly calm and compassionate person with all her healing tips and advice.

Maria Yoga classes run by Maria Mam are one of the best till date that I have attended. Most scientific and whole body stretching with tremendous knowledge of the anatomy which gives her an added benefit over other yoga teachers. Marias yoga classes have made me experience yoga from a completely different perspective. I have learnt that yoga is not just about getting your poses right, it's about knowing 'Why Yoga'. My experience with MYPC has been amazing. It makes me want to come to class regularly. Basically I was never a yoga lover, but after training under Maria I have developed an interest and started enjoying it . A couple of months back I was really unwell...was hospitalised....it was a huge shocker for me....I always thought I was a very healthy person. But I was wrong! With alot of medication and my mum's care I was back on my feet! Around this time I came to Maria's yoga center! And I slowly realised that this was the best decision I've made for myself! My health has improved tremendously and more importantly I feel I'm becoming healthy in the true sense... with my body and my mind! I've become stronger and more confident as a person!
